Pork chop Recipe: Honey-Sesame Pork Chops

Honey-Sesame Pork Chops
Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 3/8-inch thick
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed
Cooking Procedures:
  1. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add chops and brown on both sides, about 3 minutes on each side.
  2. Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and honey; heat to a simmer; cover and simmer until chops are cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove chops, reserve.
  3. Heat sauce to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until sauce thickens.
  4. Return chops to pan with sesame seed. Heat through and serve.
Serves 4.
